Description:
We have partnered exclusively with a London based Accessories multichannel Retailer who pride themselves on the luxury brands they offer their customers. Our client has created the brand new role of Merchandise Planner, which will report directly into the B&M Director. This is a great time to be joining our client, with exciting growth plans over the next couple of years. This person will be based in the office 2/3 days per week.
Role:
- Create and implement the merchandising plan that meets each category/range and commercial company performance requirements
- Develop and partner with the Merchandise and Buying team to drive strategies and tactics that deliver financial goals, through quality reporting and analysis.
- Establish annual financial plans by stores and by regions, gathering necessary historical financial data
- Provide accurate information to inform and challenge the Buyers’ , Merchandisers’ decisions on purchasing/stock
- Established forecasts and financial plans by product type to provide our supplier base to ensure maximum return and efficiencies
- Manage the operational stock position along with the finance team
- Identifying, building, and maintaining key internal and external stakeholder relationships to deliver the key KPI’s at all times for the product range
Ideal Candidate:
- An experienced Merchandise Planner who has a previous recent high level of experience of demand planning, forecasting, data analytics and report creation
- Recent and proven track record of delivery consistent results
- Experience of working in a digital and bricks and mortar business
- Excellent influencing and negotiation skills
- Sound commercial and numerical skills including detailed analysis
- Ability to translate complex data
- Ability to handle multiple competing priorities
- Good stakeholder management skill
