Our client is a multi-channel Homewares brand who are seeing huge growth from their digital side of the business. Because of this they have created a brand new role of Senior Email Marketing Exec. This is a brilliant opportunity for the ideal candidate to really make their mark in a growing team. The position is based in the South West of England.

Role:

  • As eMail Marketing Coordinator you will develop the digital approach in attracting, maintaining and enhancing customer relationships via the email channel
  • Working within the eCommerce team, you will apply customer centric thinking to deliver a seamless on brand customer journey
  • You’ll work closely with the marketing & creative teams, as well as sharing knowledge, experience and insights with the broader business
  • As a key member of the digital team, you will leverage your skills and experience to support the continued growth
  • You will be expected to develop a rounded understanding of the eCommerce business and will be supported in developing your career path to deliver continued success

Responsibilities:

  • Own all email communication; measure, test and enhance
  • Deliver an outstanding email experience to  present and future customers
  • Responsible for managing the ESP platform, provider relationship and future change
  • Develop a rounded, consistent optimised approach to data capture
  • Apply segmentation to deliver relevant communications
  • Develop eCRM planning and internal communication process
  • Implement a robust automation strategy
  • Use available tools to understand performance & user journeys, using this information to steer the eCRM roadmap and prioritization
  • Monitor data quality and provide the business with relevant data & customer insights
  • Establish Weekly & Monthly reports
  • Support eCommerce and Marketing in digital reporting
  • Support UX testing, post-test analysis and implementation
  • Keep up-to-date with competitor activity
  • Keep up to date with existing software solution enhancements & alternative solutions
  • Always strive to deliver increment revenue above plan
  • Develop a strong product & trading knowledge
  • Integrate with the broader team; embrace and enjoy our culture

Requirements

  • 3+ Years in eCommerce marketing
  • Proven track record in email marketing
  • Able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of email marketing and tactics used to enhance email channel performance
  • Strong commercial sense balanced with an understanding and appreciation of brand equity
  • Able to demonstrate experience in developing email automation strategies
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics and other eCommerce reporting solutions
  • Confident with data and insights
  • Ability to forge strong and collaborative relationships, internally and externally
  • Motivated and driven to achieve results, with ability to work hard in a dynamic team environment
  • Strong organization and attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
