Description:

Our client is a very successful and ever growing digital retailer based in central London and are looking for an exceptional Search Marketing Manager to join their award winning marketing team. You will be responsible for effective management of all Pay Per Click (PPC) and SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) Marketing activity. This position reports directly to the Online Marketing Manager and sits within the Marketing team.

Opportunity:

  •  Lead and execute search marketing strategy collaboratively with the Online Marketing Manager and Marketing Director
  • Track and evaluate KPIs by region and implement changes to improve key metrics
  • Drive sales and new customer acquisition efficiently across search channels
  • Manage PPC budgets against set targets
  • Optimize PPC campaigns with ad copy, landing page and bidding tests
  • Conduct keyword research for PPC campaigns and ongoing Organic SEO initiatives
  • Proactively manage, monitor, review and improve multiple SEO initiatives and results to ensure high rankings on key search terms
  • Provide weekly and monthly performance reporting against targets, making optimisation recommendations to the Senior Management
  • Use bid management tools to maximise the effectiveness of PPC campaigns
  • Work with external agencies and Account Managers to ensure all Search Marketing opportunities are maximised and that best practice is implemented.

Expertise:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Search Marketing role with proven track record in PPC, both hands on operational level experience as well as strategic planning
  • Prior experience managing SEM/PPC on Google and Bing in-house is essential
  • Proven Google Adwords certification
  • Working knowledge of Google analytics
  • Experience working with Marin or similar bid management software
  • Advance Excel skills
  • Prior experience of mobile, display, social and content marketing preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational and prioritization skills to manage multiple work requests and projects at all times
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage projects independently
  • Bachelor degree or similar qualification in Marketing, Business, Communication or a related field would be advantageous
  • Experience working in retail industry
  • Enthusiastic, proactive attitude with passion for digital marketing ideal
