Description:

Our client is a leading Online Fashion retailer who offer their customers luxury branded product. We are assisting in the recruitment of an Online Trading Manager to join their London office on a contract basis, which could lead to a permanent position.

Primary Objectives:

  • Establish documentation for margin and sales monitoring and analysis
  • Report weekly on sales and margin achieved against budget and BTA.
  • Work closely with Head of Buying to determine best campaign scheduling dependent on key success factors
  • Support Buyers by providing in depth  analysis on sales and margin
  • Establish and manage monthly range plans to maximise sales by sub category
  • Manage the post-sale processes managing contact with suppliers and the warehouse
  • Ensure campaign schedule is updated with correct sales and margin information
  • Manage Invoices working with Accounts and suppliers to reconcile information

Main Responsibilities:

  • Present weekly sales analysis at Buyers meeting
  • Update Buyers status with sales and margin and report to CCO weekly on BTA, sell throughs, consignment v buys and performance against budget
  • Work with the BA’s to resolve back order issues and minimise customer cancellations. Act as main contact for Customer services, Warehouse and Suppliers
  • Provide sales, margin and returns analysis for all previous campaigns on campaign header
  • Log all Campaign Headers and ensure price pointing, margin target and sales estimates are all correct before sending for sign off
  • Manage stock tracker and payment terms with BA’s
  • Monitor sales during campaigns and trade as required (add additional stock if required/available, review prices downwards if required, request additional marketing support, promos etc)
  • Place orders after campaign finished, discussing sales performance with Suppliers and feedback to team
  • Present quarterly update on performance (lessons learnt) to Buyers
  • Manage outlook stock and clearance campaigns
