We have partnered exclusively with a multi-channel Lifestyle brand who continue to grow from strength to strength and is now seeking an Account Manager to be the brand ambassador for Germany, which is where this role would be based.

ROLE

  • Responsible for identifying, prospecting and building relationships with lifestyle/concept stores, department stores and home interior businesses with a view to develop Brand Partner status
  • Maximise the account potential to achieve mutual business growth
  • Work to satisfy customers’ needs and requests, deliver an excellent customer experience
  • Represent the brand at seasonal trade shows in Europe to showcase and sell the new collection to customers
  • Identify and develop new sales opportunities for the brand in Germany
  • Completing the reporting and administration tasks to manage and develop sales territory

 MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in Germany to develop accounts to Brand Partner status
  • Represent the brand and manage and develop a portfolio of existing accounts in a specified area
  • Work with the EU team to research, convert business leads and grow the territory through key stores.
  • Act as the point of contact and handle customers’ individual needs, resolve conflicts and provide solutions to customers in a timely manner
  • Attend Trade Shows to build customer relationships, sales and business development
  • Attend customer meetings
  • Achieve individual and sales team sales targets, objectives and KPI’s
  • Complete reporting and administrative work, for the successful running and development of the territory

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Industry experience with a network of existing contacts in the specified area
  • Sales experience
  • Strong commercial drive
  • Excellent relationship and developing partnership skills
  • Proven track record of achieving new business sales with some account retention and development experience

 SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Energetic, self-driven
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Hands on experience in sales and an ability to deliver excellent customer experience
  • Business acumen with a problem-solving attitude
  • Pro Active and not reactive
  • Computer literate and good experience of MS office (MS Excel in particular)
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to prioritise and to adapt quickly to changing circumstances

 REQUIREMENTS

  • 2-5 years’ proven sales experience in a similar industry
  • Target driven
  • Brand ambassador
  • Strong commercial awareness
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work under pressure, to be able to prioritise workload and adapt quickly to changing circumstances
  • The successful candidate will be based in Germany and the role will be home based with approximately one week per month spent at the Head Office in the UK.
